About me, Beth Campagna:

I was introduced to yoga in 1990 and fell in love with it!  So much so, I have taught yoga on and off since 1995. My interest in holistic health and wellness have been a passion of mine ever since.  Also, I am a Certified Wellness Coach and currently studying to be an Ayurveda Lifestyle Consultant.

The dynamic and respected yogi Diane Wilson of Portland, Oregon was my first yoga teacher.  In addition, I studied with Kathleen Perkins who introduced me to the tradition of the Himalayan Masters as taught by Swami Rama and his successor Pandit Rajmani Tigunait.  The Himalayan Institute in Honesdale, Pennsylvania is my spiritual home.  My knowledge of yoga has deepend through training with Paul Cheek, a certified Iyengar teacher, of Rushing Water Yoga in Camas, Washington; as well as, The Movement Center where I received my teacher training certification.

Creating a space where students feel safe and supported is important to me.  This is acheived through teaching a practice of balanced integration of effort and ease as a powerful starting point.  Teaching yoga practice is inherently nourishing to the soul which involves steadiness, ease, and being present in connecting body, breath, and mind in the present moment.
